Crew Cooling and Heating

In modern times, military operations are being carried out in the harshest of environmental climates. To maximise operational capability of any vehicle and its crew it is essential to provide an efficient system for crew cooling and heating.

MDH Defence offers a range of crew cooling and heating solutions for military land vehicles which have been proven in the harsh operating conditions of a range of locations across the world including Iraq and Afghanistan.

Crew cooling solutions are available in a range of sizes from 5 kW to 9 kW with a variety of integration options. The evaporator uses a conventional vapour cycle process using R134a refrigerant and compressor, condenser and interconnecting refrigerant hoses can also be provided.

Heating is also available by way of a separate crew heater.
